Asia Communications and Photonics Conference and Exhibition (ACP) is Asia's premier conference and exhibition in the Pacific Rim for photonics technologies, including optical communications, biophotonics, displays, illumination and applications in energy. The event will take place 8-12 December 2010 in Shanghai, China at the Shanghai International Conference Center & Oriental Riverside Hotel.

The five technical societies IEEE Photonics Society, OSA, SPIE, the Chinese Optical Society and the Chinese Institute of Communications-have joined together to co-sponsor the ACP 2010 conference. The Local Organizing Committee with participation from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics will be responsible for local organization of the technical conference. Wen Global Solutions will continue as owner of the exposition.

The ACP Technical Conference - taking place in Shanghai, China, 8-12 December 2010 and co-located with the ACP tradeshow exhibition will be the premier conference in the Asia Pacific region for optical research and technologies in a wide range of application areas including optical communications, optical sensors, biophotonics, displays, solid-state lighting and energy applications. ACP will bring together the foremost forum for advanced technical research and the dynamic Chinese marketplace.

The ACP technical conference features a full suite of plenary talks, invited talks, contributed talks, short courses and posters given by international academic and industrial researchers who are leaders in their respective fields, including:

  • Passive Components and Fiber-Based Devices
  • Optoelectronic Materials and Devices
  • Optical Transmission Systems, Switching and Subsystems
  • Network Architectures, Management and Applications
  • Optical Sensors and Biophotonics
  • Display, Solid-State Lighting, Photovoltaics and Optoelectronics in Energy

With a conference program of broad scope and of the highest technical quality, ACP provides an ideal venue to keep up with new research directions, the latest technical breakthroughs and emerging new commercial applications of optoelectronics subsystems and technologies. ACP offers the opportunity to meet and interact with the researchers who are leading these advances.
