Chinese Optical Society (COS)
Founded in December 1979, the Chinese Optical Society (COS) is a professional society in China devoted to advancing the fields of optics and photonics. It is a subsidiary society of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).
The mission of COS consists of:

Chinese Institute of Communications(CIC)
China Institute of Communications (CIC) is a non-profit institution formed, on a voluntary basis, by professionals and organizations in the communications science and technology circle in China. It is registered according to law at the Ministry of Civil Affairs. CIC serves as a bridge linking the government with the communications science and technology community. Under the guidance of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), ClC provides intermediary services of scientific and technological nature in the field of communications.
