Postdeadline Submissions Deadline: 15 NOVEMBER 2010
The purpose of post deadline papers is to give participants the opportunity to hear new and significant material in rapidly advancing areas. Only those papers judged to be truly excellent and compelling in their timeliness will be accepted.
The Technical Program Committee for ACP will accept a limited number of post deadline papers for presentation. Papers reporting extraordinary results must be submitted online no later than 15 NOVEMBER 2010.
No papers may be brought to the meeting.
Note: Only PDF files will be accepted.
Authors submitting Post deadline papers to ACP 2010 taking place in Shanghai, Chinaare required to submit a 35-word abstract and a 2 page-limit summary, along with the completed online submission form via the Photonics Society online paper collection website beginning 25 AUGUST, 2010 and no later than 15 NOVEMBERl 2010. Authors will be notified regarding the status of their paper by email. Notifications are sent only to the corresponding author.
A signed copyright agreement form must be mailed/faxed or e-mail to Photonics Society within 72 hours of paper submission. Technical papers received outside of the electronic submission format will not be accepted. Revisions will only be accepted up until the paper submission deadline.
Electronic Submission: Authors are asked to provide vital pieces of information, including, but not limited to the paper title, presentation type, and a 35-word abstract, as well as all authors' contact information. This information must be completed in its entirety; failure to do so may inhibit your ability to successfully complete your submission.
The 35-word Abstract will be used for publication in the Advance Program. Overlength abstracts will not be accepted and will affect your ability to successfully submit your work.
The 2 Page Summary must be submitted as a PDF file. The first page must begin with the title of the paper followed by the authors name, affiliation, and address. If charts, illustrations, or figures are used, they must fit within the 2-page limit.
CONFERENCE MATERIALS:
ACP Technical Digest on CD-ROM:
The ACP 2010 Technical Digest on CD-Rom is composed of 3-page summaries of invited and accepted contributed papers. The Technical Digest CD-ROM is included with a technical conference registration and can be found in your registration bag. The digest will be available after the conference on IEEE Xplore Digital Library (http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/xplore/), SPIE Digital Library (http://www.spiedl.org/journals/doc/SPIEDL-home) and OSA's Optics InfoBase (http://www.opticsinfobase.org). The ACP Technical Digest is not available in print form.
PROCEEDINGS:
The ACP 2010 proceedings will be published by SPIE and will contain the 6-12 page manuscripts of the presentations. The proceedings will also be published in the SPIE Digital Library, IEEE Xplore Digital Library and OSA's Optics InfoBase and archived and indexed by INSPEC and Ei Compendex, where it will be available to the international technical community. All International registrants will receive a copy of the proceedings as part of thier registration fee.
SHORT COURSE NOTES:
Notes typically include a copy of the presentation and any additional materials provided by the instructor. Each course has a unique set of notes, which are distributed on-site to registered course attendees ONLY.
ACP 2010 BUYERS' GUIDE:
The ACP 2010 Buyers' Guide is composed of the 50-word descriptions and contact information for exhibiting companies, a cross-referenced product-category index, general conference services information and exhibit floor activities. Guides will be given to every ACP attendee as part of registration.
